For those that braved the blizzard to attend Bockfest 2008, you may recall that we had received an entry from Leonardo Botto from Brazil.  After winning an award in the Bockfest competition, Leonardo invited us to submit our entries in their annual competition at the end of August.  Unfortunately I did not remember this until I awoke suddenly the other night.

I'm not sure if Listermann's "free shipping" policy applies to international deliveries, but it's worth a shot if you have qualifying entries and you can get them down to Listermann's REAL SOON!

Again, I apologize for the late notice... here are the details

The competition is confirmed for august, 30th. The beers wil be accepted until august, 24th. You can send them to me (Leonardo Botto), and i'll take them to Belo Horizonte. I'll be going there on the 27 th, august.

The styles (BJCP) are: 14-A, English IPA; 15-A, Weizen; and 18, Belgian strong ales (dubbel, tripel, belgian strong dark ales, strong golden ales, and belgian blond ale).

For foreigners we won' t charge entries fee. The numbers of bottles are 4 (any type of it, since it doesn't have any kind of marks or signs. And it has to be brown.). You have to inform name, address, email, beer style (if category 18, the sub-style too).

 Send the bottles to me:

Leonardo Botto

Rua Marquês de Abrantes, 88, apart. 805.

Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brasil

CEP 22230-901

If you do wish to enter beers, send an email to Leonardo at (leonardo@bottobier.com.br) to let him know that they are on their way.

Let me know if you do send beers.
