Many moons ago (1986), a few Bloatarians gathered to share their homebrewed libations with one another. It was August, so you can imagine the heat...and the sweat! A few brews later it was decided that this first gathering of sorts should be memorialized in some fashion. The next year, more BBL members came to join the fun. In subsequent years, invitations were extended to other clubs and the event grew to unimagined proportions. By 1993, the event now called ?Beer & Sweat? boasted 150 gallons of homebrew. By the 20th anniversary in 2006, there were over 230 entries!
