The Greater Huntington Homebrewers Association is proud to host the 2007 Mountain Brewer Open homebrew Contest. This years event will be held at St Clouds Common, Huntington WV on Saturday July 28th 2007. GHHA BREWFEST will follow the homebrew contest.

Last year, the Homebrew contest drew 209 entries from 19 states, including one entry from Dominica (British West Indies). We anticipate a similar number of entries this year. All entries will be judged according to the 2004 BJCP guidelines. Medallions will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place beers in each category. In addition a best of show trophy will be awarded to the top entry. Meads, ciders & braggots will will compete in their own best-of-show judging.
