If you have not checked this place out, you are missing out. No crap on tap (i.e. not Bud, Miller, Michelob -- or any crap in a bottle). Todd the owner is very knowledgeable and a great guy. Happy hour is 4-7 M-F. Prices: $1.00 off all drafts -- thus drink a pint for around $3.00 and there are three appetizers that are half price during this time (my favorite is wings with celery and blue cheese).
So, not to keep you in suspense any longer, the beer on tap changes almost every week. Bar upstairs and on main floor serving same beers. Toured basement with 4' ceilings and stone foundation -- splitter on each keg to first/second floor. Current beer on tap is: Guiness, Stella, Ichabod (pumpkin from New Holland), Hobgoblin, Arcadia Porter, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Bass, BH Octoberfest. Probably forgot one or two.
I (with Ken) visit this place at least once a week. Last week Maudite was on tap -- you missed a good one here. Todd has also generously donated many tap handles for raffles prizes to both CMI and the Bloatarians. So, if you go tell him you are a Bloat and thank him in person for his donation. He is somewhat knowledgeable about the beer clubs as Ken & I keep him up to date. He said he did attend Beer and Sweat.
I do know that this next Thursday, whatever date that is as i am not near my calendar -- just before Halloween, some of the CMI people are going to be there (upstairs) just as a get together and to celebrate a birthday. Come join us.
