Thanks to Dave Harsh for all the advise. This new brewers has many questions. Hopefully some others will share thoughts also.
Hopback -- Next recipe calls for use of a hopback. Have researched on line and now understand the concept. Realize is is not necessary but sounds like a good idea.
Question --- Will I get the same effect from a hopback using pellet versus leaf hop? I have only read articles relating to the use of hopback with leaf hops. Anybody use a hopback with pellet hops? Figure I might have to add a strainer of some type to my tubing going into the carboy if use pellet.
Thoughts anyone?
