1 lb. Wyermann Melanodin Malt (man does this stuff smell good!)
8 lb. Durst Munich Malt
0.07 lb. Chocolate Malt
3.0 oz. Hallertau pellet hops (first wort) 3.9 % AA

Mash 60 min 67?C 1 hr. Mash out at 75?C

Used Talawanda Spring water, and added: 1.4g CaSO4, 5.7g CaCO3, 0.8g NaCl, 0.4g MgCl2, 2.0g MgSO4 to simulate Dusseldorf water

Boiled 90 min

OG. = 1.047!!
FG. = 1.015
4.0% ABV
1? 16 days at 50-65?C Racked into secondary October 12, 1998
2? 2 weeks in fridge, then 2 weeks in Keg
